This Privacy Policy explains how Appixer Technologies (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the CropCalc mobile application and this website (cropcalc.appixer.com).
1. Who we are
CropCalc is published by Appixer Technologies. CropCalc helps farmers, traders, and mandi users calculate kaat and settlements, view daily rates, check weather, convert units, and share receipts.
2. Data we collect or access
Depending on how you use CropCalc, we may collect or access:
- Approximate location — used to provide local weather
- Device identifiers used by analytics, advertising, or crash reporting SDKs
- Notification tokens (FCM) when you enable notifications
- App settings and calculation history stored on your device (local storage / SharedPreferences)
3. How we use data
We use this information to:
- Provide weather for your approximate area
- Send rate or app notifications you opted into
- Improve stability (for example Crashlytics)
- Understand feature usage through analytics
- Show ads (AdMob) and respect consent / privacy choices where available
4. Third parties
CropCalc uses trusted third-party services. Their processing is governed by their own policies:
- Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging, Remote Config, and related services as used)
- Google Mobile Ads / AdMob
- WeatherAPI.com for weather data
- Play Store and system share targets when you choose to share content
5. Permissions
CropCalc may request:
- Location — for local weather
- Notifications — optional alerts for rates and announcements
- Photos / media access — only when saving images to your gallery (platform-dependent)
6. Data retention & storage
Calculation history and many settings stay on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app.
Cloud processing by third-party SDKs follows those providers’ retention practices.
7. Children’s privacy
CropCalc is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
8. Your choices
You can:
- Revoke location or notification permission in system settings
- Manage ad privacy choices inside the app where available
- Contact us for help with privacy questions
